Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville App Reviews

I really love the game and the story line that goes with it, but there needs to be a way to counteract the spread of cultism within your faction.

Rebuild 3 has to be my all-time favorite game. Sarah Northway is s tremendous talent! I love the shear game play as well as the writing and art. Im jonesing for my next dose of bath salts in the form of your next game, Sarah!

The small issues I have with this game only underscore that nothings perfect. SPOILERS------------- For example, I would love it if, when playing the story mode, the engineers remembered the tech that can logically carry over from city to city (not electrified walls but yes improved traps). I would also love it if the factions acted like they remembered you. The storyline says that you remember them but, except for the Rotten, who actually act like they do on many cities, though not all, and (at one point) the Granville Riffs, they act as if they had never heard of you. This is particularly bad with the Government which, after a coup in which you are specifically told there is new leadership you run into the same leader again. The story mode also fails to explain why the factions move from city to city. We know our motivation for moving, and the Rottens and maybe the Governments, but what are the other factions motivations? Another thing is that the AI for the factions never seems to have them compete or have issues with each other, only with the players group, even after becoming allies. And, finally, if I can take 6 people total to the next city on a crop dusting plane, why can I only take 4 when not using a plane, even when one of them has an armored truck equipped? Also in general, its not really spelled out what having an power plant does. Nor why one of the characters I took to all my cities seemed to be the mother of people in all of them (sometimes more than one) even though in her storyline she only gave birth once. END SPOILERS------------ But, regardless, those are truly minor quibbles to a game that in general is a triumph of post apocalyptic strategy and which I would recommend wholeheartedly.

I own about 125 games on my iPhone 5s. From X-Com:EW to TWEWY:SR to well, you name it. I have played this game for two days and am on the 2nd city. I was intrigued by the premise and artwork, but the preview video couldnt convince me. So I watched some gameplay videos on YouTube. SOLD!! If you are on the fence, or want an awesome strategy game with RPG like customization and ZoMBiES, or if you like all kinds of games and want a killer addictive in depth one of a kind game, I highly recommend!!! Its worth the money its fun and great to use when you have time to waste

I had played previous versions of rebuild (1 & 2) as flash games a long time ago and forgotten about what great fun they were until stumbling across this game last week. I bought it hoping for nothing more than the game I Had before with new levels, but I was blown away by how far they progressed the game. very fun, takes a good chunk of time to beat each level, and the depth of play and story line is amazing. Honestly, this game is so well done and challenging. Bravo

Multiple endings, factions, zombie hordes and replay value to last the apocalypse.

Hands down, this is the best game Ive ever played on my iPhone. Its crazy addicting and simple to get the hang of. Love that its not pay to play!

I love love love love this game. I have been waiting for it for so long and it does not disappoint in the least. I have gone from 100% battery to 9% or so several times with this game! One thing I really would love fixed. There is a sound that is played when you click on a school or a laboratory. I dont know what it is, but it makes me cringe like someone is pulling nails across a chalkboard. Please please please change this sound. Maybe to a beaker bubbling. Its that click at the end. I have found I have to make a noise myself when I know it is coming or I physically cringe. PLEASE CHANGE THAT SOUND! I will change review to 5 stars when that sound that kills me every time is gone!!

Ceaselessly oozing one more turn gameplay like a zombie eye-socket, Rebuild 3 delivers the strategic fun and witty content Ive come to love from the series. The campaign play through had an unexpected ending, very unexpected. I won, but I dont feel like I won. In fact, I feel like eating your face.

I am a huge fan of the rebuild series and I love the new trading system in gangs of deadsville. One thing that I do really miss however is the old winter season. It really added something when I felt I had to rush to stock on food for the winter and then winter became a time of desperation. Please bring that back.

I love this game, its like zombie crack, so good, but its incredibly frustrating that you cant rest the levels in story mode. If you screw up youre basically effed. Please consider adding that functionality.

The game itself is an absolute godsend to the strategy genre in the mobile industry. You can literally go from 100% to 10-1%. The game has so much quality and is worth every penny that you spent on it.

Do NOT spend your money on this boring, painful game. It is no fun!

Reviews say great And better than the first. Honestly i hate it i dnt even want to play it. Hate the setup and there is nothing better about this one. And for the cost i am just irritated i wasted my money. Please refund me.

I played this game for hours and barely scratched the surface. This game has a great storyline that changes with your choices. It has a great and balanced challenge. Also, the game does a great job with including the emotions of the characters. Plus, there constant events happening ever turn. There are tons of buildings, government choices, equipment and factions.Finally I love the music like in the other rebuild games. BUY THIS GAME, its worth EVERY PENNY!!! Now I will go back to playing this game.

Ill admit it: I was skeptical of the changes and plans for Rebuild 3. Those concerns were unfounded; R3 is an improvement on the Rebuild series in every way. The cumbersome select-a-survivor list system has been replaced by a more intuitive token-type system (think board game, but dynamic), mission management is simpler and quicker. But best of all are the new features. Sharing a city with other factions -- or trying to wrest control of it away from them -- makes R3 a truly superior game. Campaign play is lengthy and has high replay value (lots of approaches to try!), but the good old sandbox is still there, too. The difficulty scale can be harsh; go above easy at your own peril, and hard is downright punishing, but it will offer a challenge no matter how good you (think you) are. Frankly, this game is awesome at any price, and I had no problem putting down full retail for it; no IAP, so thats the only pay to play, the way it should be. Kudos to Northway on a grand slam home run. A+ without any hesitation!

This game is simply fantastic. Its easy to pick up and impossible to put down. The attention to detail, addictive gameplay and deep story mode make it the greatest city builder game on the App Store. So much love has been put into the game - its quality shines through a sea of adequate titles on the App Store. Would happily buy any game you guys make based on this experience. Thank you.
